Let's talk about my melee cybernatic commando. Hi, let's see if i can aid you a little bit here? Note English isn't my native language so there might be some mistakes here and there ) Throwing weapon as a main weapon is just a bad idea it seems. The cyber-enhanced one was doing some big numbers but, without martial defense and all the protective spells, it was a constant hit and run tactic. Adept was resilient enough but again a melee weapon one would have done the job better. I tried different unarmed builds for very hard : adept, cyber-enhanced, hybrid thrower. But then again you're lacking control and toughness. It does more damage per ap than melee weapons with a huge strength investment. Since there damages don't add up with your base unarmed damage. I don't know if Mana Fist and Quick Strike were supposed to be used by unarmed characters (I fail to see in which other builds they could be used) but they don't synergize at all. The 2 turn cd is killing its usefulness later though.

Rip armor isn't terrible but not that great either. Whereas 3 chi casting allow any melee weapons wielder to crit 100% of the time. It requires a hudge investment for reliable critical chance. It lacks the "control" that melee weapons provide (chi casting 100% crit + pommel strike). I fail to see where unarmed really shines.
